The Prophets The Stranger The Lamb | Here are some foods commonly grown in the Highlands areas of Papua New Guinea. See if you can identify the items. There are bananas, eggs, peanuts, yams, sweet potatoes, taro, sugar cane, papaya, pitpit, pandanus, tapioca, cabbage, Chinese cabbage or Bok Choy, green beans, spring onions, peas, broccoli, carrots, capsicum (green peppers), cucumbers, ginger, lemons, avocados, bamboo shoots, taro root, cassava, coconuts, egg plant and some other items for which I do not have an English name.
